Lisa Harmon, born and raised on the East Coast, has lived in
Billings, Montana for over 14 years. She received her Bachelor’s
of Arts degree in Foreign Language from Old Dominion University
and was a high school french and german teacher. Experiences that
have brought her to where she is today include travel and work in
several different cities in the United States and abroad.
Additionally, Lisa founded a national, gourmet cookie company
which she ran successfully with her two sisters for 15 years,
garnering awards such as Small Business Person of the Year award,
QVC award for 2nd in sales on the “50 in 50” QVC tour, and two
Addy awards for point-of-purchase display and logo design.
As Executive Director of the Downtown Alliance, Lisa is an
enthusiastic business and downtown advocate. She is passionate
about downtown management and knows what a bustling, dynamic city
core does for its residents, merchants, business owners, and the
community at large.
Currently she serves as Chair of the Mayor’s Committee on
Homelessness, is a member of the Billings Police Department Crime
Prevention Leadership Council, and participates on the MSU-B Urban
Institute Ad Hoc Committee.
A food and wine aficionado, she loves cooking with her husband
Mike, and is crazy about their two children, William and Bronte.
